Professional Gamer Set-up LoLOoOlUlLluLOLLllLoOlUlUl

So, this is a couple of weeks old, but a whole wack of new happenings killed my blog for the last week or so -- desktop re-organization bonanza! HOLY EFF.

Yesssssssss Steam not included.

Needless to say, (yet I say I say it anyway,) I'm pretty hyped about this product of a lot of cleaning and hard house-work. I'm got my secondary monitor (on the right) hooked-up to both my 360 and as a second monitor to my PC, letting me operate both at the same time or use my PC with some extra space for media apps -- you hear that, 360? Fuck you, you can't be my god damn media center. Now play my fucking games.

On said media front, I unfortunately haven't even gotten my next idea (or two) for machinimas off the ground yet since I've pretty much all-together quit Warcraft having sold my account. As I think I've mentioned elsewhere, I do plan on continuing with my machini-making, it's just taken a spot on the back-burner for the time being after the quit and my new job being my focus this week.

This is kind of nice to have.

The last video short I made -- In 2.1 Surround Awesome.

Bright side: I've got plenty to blog about on the music front, so I'll be posting some stuff including an album review soon -- a more-recent album this time :) . Hopefully I can get more game-type stuff up soon, though :) In closing, I leave you with Mr. Astley.

You know the rules.

The Upbeats - Nobody's Out There preview

I cut-together a Youtube preview of The Upbeats' Nobody's Out There album since there wasn't already one to find. Not an amazing cut, but hopefully it gives you an idea what to expect, if not entirely doing the album justice (even at a length 10 minutes!)

If anyone gives a damn, I'm willing to render-out a high-quality MP3 of the preview :P

One With The Freaks

You'll no longer be kissed and kind,
as you long for intuition,
as you have to learn the lesson twice.

You'll no longer be kissed and kind,
as you long for intuition,
as you have to say the password twice.

Have you ever,
have you ever,
been all messed up?
Have you ever?

You're the pin card,
you're the lifeguard,
you're the information guy,
but things look much bigger
on your knees, on your knees.

Miss the signal,
miss the signpost,
lose the access to it all.
And all of a sudden
you are one with the freaks.

Have you ever,
have you ever,
been all messed up?
Have you ever?

One With The Freaks - The Notwist

I don't know what I'd do without music.

Youtube channel, a re-edit update and some music

So I finally got around to doing a full-fledged customization of my Youtube channel, which I think you should go check out (especially since DragonBlight is depressingly under-viewed.) I'll be posting my more serious-toned pieces there only, my Disconnected re-edit soon to be added.

On that note, Disconnected has got a few edit tweaks where I didn't like the transition timings, with some effects being added soon. I'm still learning my way around Vegas in terms of workflow and I haven't actually done any more than what you can see from my WeGame videos, so I'm still struggling a bit with adding some effects. That's my excuse for taking two days to get off my ass and finish such a small re-edit :P

Finally, let me direct you to the two fine groups of musicians, known by Orangebox and Red April. When hearing Orangebox I suggest you start with Falling through, and go from there -- maybe to here. Where Orangebox's melodies and beautiful vocals are based electronically, Red April is more of an acoustic affair. The singing is no less impressive, though -- check 'em out.
